Blog Hop '09 ~ Hey everybody!

So I am so new to this whole blog thing, and am not sure what I am doing. Hopefully you enjoy this introduction!

~I am the wife of Heath.
~Mother to our seven children. Their ages are:10, 9, 8, 5, 3, 2, 8 months
~We are a homeschooling family.
~I am learning the joys of what it is to be a pastor's wife.
~Crazy, just plain crazy about sewing!
~Read nearly any book. Currently reading a history book titled "Blood and Thunder".
~Am NOT an organized person, but would love to live in a house full of labeled containers.
~Just loving living my blessed life the Lord is leading through.

That's me in a nutshell. I should be careful using the word nut when describing myself, some may believe I am! Thanks for visiting!

  1. seven children! I thought I was busy with four! so nice to meet you via the blog hop... I think I'd like to live in a home of labeled containers also. not likely anytime soon ;)

  2. Visiting from the Blog Hop to say Hello!

My 2 kids keep me hopping! I'm envious of anyone who can sew...that's a talent I was definitely not blessed with!

  3. Well, hello, my sweet sistah! Made me so happy to see your sweet blog on the Blog Hop roll ... now others will be introduced to one of my most favorite people ever!! Love you!

  4. i'm hopping around...and well, hello to you!!! i love to sew, without patterns and if it doesn't require accuracy. you know, messy stuff or straight line curtains or chair pads! smiles!

  5. Love the family pic! And yeah, I have a label maker and some containers, but STUFF containers really isn't organizing is it?

(please allow name/url comments for those of us who host our own blogs)

  6. Stopping by from the BH. Wish I could sew, have a total appreciation for anyone who can!

  7. Hey, we homeschool, too! Isn't it an adventure?

I'd like to be more organized, too. I'm trying ... really, I am. Menu Plan Monday has helped, and I just got a new organizer book that has helped tremendously. But the house? Still cluttered.

  8. Oh how I wish I could sew. Buttons are about as complicated as it gets for me!

    Have a great weekend!!

  9. Nice to meet you! We also homeschool. I have to admit that I hate to sew. I contend that sewing is a direct result of the fall. I mean, what's the first thing that Adam and Eve did after taking a bite of the apple? Sew some leaves together. :-)

  10. Hi, I am stopping by from the BlogHop.. your life sounds like fun!!
I love the pictures of the skirts you made.. how lucky for those 2 little girls.
Your 2 year old reminds me of my little 2 year old niece.. They sound like a match. She was playing nice yesterday while I was busy in the kitchen. She was in my sight.. honest I could see her at all times.. So I am curious.. HOw did I not know she was coloring herself with a purple marker.
You are so talented with the sewing.. Great jobs. It sounds like you enjoy it a lot. I love to sew, just sold my sewing machine and need to get a new one.
    Enjoy!!! Happy Blogging!

  11. Nice to meet you. I wish I would have met you all when I was homeschooling. I could have used the support as I felt lost. I loved every minutes of it though. Stopping by from the blog hop to say hello.
